Teacher Gift Ideas you can make with your Cricut

Here are some teacher gifts ideas you can make with your Cricut. These projects are quick to make with vinyl you have at home, making them easy to make last minute!

Custom Colour Changing Tumbler

Apply a favourite teacher quote onto a colour changing cup. Easy, custom teacher gift perfect for summer! You can put a gift certificate inside for a local coffee shop to complete the gift.

“Don’t Make Me Use my Teacher Voice”

I love this teacher quote! You can find the Cut file in my Etsy Shop.

I found these TAL colouring changing cups at Walmart last year. Similar cups are currently available at Walmart.

I like to keep a stash of these colour changing cups! They come in handy for any occasion. I have customized them to give for birthday gifts and camping trips.

Personalized Water Bottle

Such a simple gift idea, just add the teachers name to a water bottle with vinyl! I gave these ones out to the male teachers last year. I love how the Gloss black vinyl looks on the Matte Black bottle, I think it is the perfect masculine look.

Similar matte black insulated water bottle.

I hope you found these teacher gift ideas helpful! If you make a custom colour changing cup or water bottle I would love to see it! Tag me on instagram @hangmadejoydesigns #handmadejoyblog

Handmade Cloth Doll – free face cut file

Vinyl doll face

I may have all boys, but I have few little nieces who I get to sew all things girly for! For my niece’s 2nd birthday I decided to make her a handmade doll.

I had so much fun making her! This is where my fabric hoarding comes in handy – I always have an abundance of little bits of fabric I can’t bear to part with.

I used Amie Scott’s Free Ragdoll Pattern for the body of the doll.

I am terrible at hand embroidery so I decided to use heat transfer vinyl for the doll’s face. I made a cut file for the eyelashes and mouth. Free download available below! I ironed the vinyl on the face before sewing the doll together.

The eyelashes measured about 2.5 inches across and the mouth about 0.75 inches wide.

Such a fun sewing project to experminet with texture and fabric. Go make one for all the little girls you know!

If you make one please tag me on instagram @handmadejoydesigns #handmadejoyblog. I would love to see what you created!
